ENROLMENT MANAGER – ACG Tauranga
Direct report: Principal
Functional Relationship: Marketing Director  

Purpose:  
The Enrolment Manager’s primary purpose is to support the Principal and School in meeting or exceeding enrolment targets, along with ensuring that parents and all prospects are provided with exceptional customer service and support during the process from enquiry to enrolment.  

The role proactively develops and maintains strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include the students, parents, Principal, School PA, teachers and support office personnel. External stakeholders in the community could include the key community bodies, real estate agents, sports clubs and local feeder schools. The Enrolment Manager manages all enquiries that have expressed an interest in visiting the school and is actively involved in marketing/business development activities designed to increase the external profile at local primary schools, expos, feeder providers, and events.  

The Enrolment Manager is the person who is passionate about spreading the word of ACG Senior College as an excellent education offering in the region and has commitment to exceptional customer care that is consistent, helpful and dedicated to ensuring enrolment is seamless. The person believes in the benefits of a private education and International curricula.    

Key Accountabilities:

• Meet or exceed student enrolment targets in the Preschool, Primary and Secondary levels at ACG Tauranga
• Contribute to the development and delivery of both individual and company strategies in conjunction with the Principal and central marketing
• Build and develop a network of relationships with external stakeholders as potential sources of new students and providers of student support.
• Lead  sales, marketing and promotional activities as required, and be available outside of normal work hours to be involved in planned marketing events as required (Open Days, local expos, information evenings)
• Proactively develop effective internal working relationships across the team and the wider campus, communicate and share information to finesse the enquiry to enrolment process and drive best practice
• Actively promote the school facilities being used by the local community and sporting bodies, all with the aim of raising the profile of the school locally
• Ensure all tasks and follow up’s via the CRM are completed in a speedy manner and that all information relating to the student and parents is kept up to date in CRM
• Report regularly on prospects, status level on CRM and projected enrolments 
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative and the ability to work within a team environment 


Key Deliverables:

• Sales targets met or exceeded
• Student retention targets achieved by working closely with the Principal and Marketing Department to drive the retention strategy
• Positive and productive relationships established with internal/external stakeholders
• A cohesive link is established and maintained between Pre-school, Primary and College
• CRM is accurately maintained and up to date and used to drive efficiencies in enquiry management
• A quarterly calendar of activity including open days, regional expos, community visits, parent evenings is set up and presented to the Principal 

Person Specification:

• Compelling and effective communication skills, and be able to use these skills to quickly build rapport 
• Previous sales, business development or networking experience or an account management role would be advantageous
• High degree of customer service delivery ability
• Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office programs with familiarity of Microsoft Dynamix or similar - CRM an advantage
• The ability to successfully multitask, prioritise and manage conflicting priorities well
• Critical analysis and the ability to innovate improvement - An analytical mind is important
• A passion for education and a commitment to represent and be a strong advocate for the organisation
• A belief in the benefits of private education and international curricula
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others; establish and maintain positive, professional working relationships, a team player who is able to work autonomously when necessary 
• A solid understanding of education and schools would be an advantage
• A high level in creatively thinking about the local community and the best way to showcase what the school offers
• An energetic, enthusiastic people person
• Ability to work out of hours when necessary
• High degree of initiative and drive to achieve targets
• Current New Zealand driver’s license
