The Digital Acquisition and Paid Search Manager will be responsible for the hands-on execution, management and strategy of the groups; Paid Search (Adwords), Facebook Advertising (Business Manager) and other paid channels e.g. LinkedIn.

This is a key position in the digital team so you’ll need a real passion for digital advertising and digital marketing in general.  As a high volume target driven role you’ll need to be a winner, extremely analytical with an insatiable appetite for optimisation and performance improvement. 

This is a highly autonomous role so it’s a great opportunity to really own a position and bring your own ideas to the table. To be a success you’ll need to be great at managing internal and external relationships, own multiple large budgets and provide thought leadership and mentoring to the digital team and wider group.

Reporting to the Digital Manager the role will be responsible for:
·       Ownership and management of all Google Adwords brand accounts each with multiple campaigns
·       Ownership and management of multiple Facebook Advertising accounts
·       Ownership and management of other paid search channels e.g. LinkedIn
·       Creating and optimising paid search channels with consistent reviewing of all campaigns according to business goals and best practice
·       Keyword research, ad copy testing, bid management and competitor analysis
·       Regularly testing new strategies, channels and ad formats
·       Reporting ownership, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting including performance analysis when required
·       Deliver on lead targets and maximize ROI
·       Analyse campaign results to identify new trends and opportunities
·       Confidently manage budgets, report on spend variances and provide recommendations into budget management decisions
·       Work with the digital marketing specialists to identify website/landing page optimisation opportunities, and to assist in driving conversion through testing
·       Identify opportunities domestically and internationally
·       Provide PPC guidance and expertise to the wider business and digital teams. Including providing thought leadership and mentoring where required.

The Person
·       2-3 years minimum experience in a hands-on PPC role either client or agency side
·       Demonstrable experience in managing Google Adwords and Facebook Business Manager campaigns and strategy within a high volume commercial business
·       Own the lead targets and work with marketing area owners to ensure targets are met
·       Analytical approach, an expert in interpreting data and making decisions to continually improve results
·       Ability to provide mentoring and thought leadership to rest of the digital team/s on Google Adwords, Facebook Advertising and paid media in general
·       Demonstrable experience of testing and analyzing, using test results to inform decisions
·       Google Adwords Certified
·       Proven experience in being involved with creating and optimising paid media campaigns.
·       Budget management experience
·       Experience in gathering relevant information/data and providing insightful reports back to stakeholders
·       A real thirst to learn
·       High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation, self-starter; able to go from idea, to prototype, to execution flawlessly
·       Highly organised with a keen attention to detail
·       Able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects at any one time
·       Confidence to present ideas, solutions to senior management
·       Excellent commercial awareness
·       A numbers person, obsessed with results, performance and very analytical
