With 20 individual brand identities in the group, it is an exciting time to join the ACG Education marketing department. This role will play an important part in ensuring the brand team is a centre of excellence both inside and outside of the organisation.  

The purpose of this role is to design solutions to creative briefs for branded print and digital visual communications collateral, that support our vision and communications strategies and also to provide support for the marketing team. The Graphic Designer contributes to the marketing team by taking responsibility for the creation and design of all marketing and advertising material. This role ensures all collateral is both innovative and effective in building, engaging and cultivating a powerful presence and profile for the organisation.  

This role is a fixed term parental leave cover position

You will
  • Be a key driver in the brand look and feel, ensuring that all material being produced is on brand and that we are constantly striving for excellence in all of our material
  • Implement and ensure consistency of brand and design across all promotional materials and media
  • Develop campaign material and ensure all campaign material is delivered to specifications and deadlines
  • Create external marketing material including prospectuses, course brochures and expo material
  • Work effectively and supportively with two other Graphic Designers and a Collateral Publisher as well as wider marketing team to deliver amazing work on time
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media
  • Have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge in Adobe Animate, After Effects and HTML an advantage. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to design solutions to creative briefs for branded print and digital visual communications collateral, that support our vision and communications strategies and also to provide support for the marketing team. The Graphic Designer contributes to the marketing team by taking responsibility for the creation and design of all marketing and advertising material. This role ensures all collateral is both innovative and effective in building, engaging and cultivating a powerful presence and profile for the organisation.
 


The role holder will:
  • Be a key driver in the brand look and feel, ensuring that all material being produced is on brand and that we are constantly striving for excellence in all of our material
  • Interpret the business needs and direction via the managers and think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Implement and ensure consistency of brand and design across all promotional materials and media
  • Develop campaign material and ensuring all campaign material is delivered to specifications and deadlines
  • Create all digital ads used in online ACG campaigns
  • Create external marketing material including prospectuses, course brochures and expo material
  • Assist with any additional marketing material required by campuses or the marketing team including (but not limited to) social media imagery, images for email campaigns, signage, web assets
  • Work effectively and supportively with two other Graphic Designers and a Collateral Publisher as well as wider marketing team to deliver amazing work on time
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media
  • Have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge in Adobe Animate, After Effects and HTML an advantage. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Brand Team Membership:
  • Effectively contribute to the wider achievements of the brand team, maintain awareness of all activities and support the success of these
  • Drive the creation of strong internal working relationships and ensure that the internal customers are provided with the highest level of customer service through effective performance of the marketing team
  • Contribute to creating a centre of excellence for ACG Education brands
  • Work collaboratively to ensure consistency and also provide support where necessary to corporate, schools and vocational brands
