We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Recruitment: Pathways (NZ) in a full time, permanent role based in either; Wellington, Singapore or Hong Kong.

The Head of Recruitment: Pathways (NZ) is a sales and recruitment position, with the primary purpose of working with our agents and University Partners to meet or exceed new student enrolment targets. You will be responsible for managing depth relationships with our key agent partners and contributing to their sales strategy. An integral part of the role is the development and execution of sales related events to support knowledge transfer and engagement.

This role is best suited to a high-energy, problem solver who thrives in a demanding sales environment and is able to build strong, trust-based relationships within a global sales matrix structure. 

To be successful in this role, you will:
• Meet or exceed student enrolment targets across our New Zealand Pathways Products 
• Contribute to the development and delivery of both individual and team sales strategies and operational plans
• Establish and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our external partners
• Assist with sales, marketing and promotional activities as required, and be available outside of normal work hours to be involved in planned marketing events as required
• Proactively develop effective internal working relationships across the team and the wider organisation including Admissions, Marketing, Operations and Finance
• Be highly organised and efficient with excellence data analysis and reporting skills
About you:
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:

• Strong sales background and sales instinct, ideally with exposure to an indirect distribution model
• Demonstrable sales leadership and accountability characteristics
• Fluent in English. A second language is advantageous
• Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written
• Experience of managing projects by using established tools and methodologies
• Can-do attitude and resilience in the face of challenges

Title: Head of Recruitment: Pathways
Reports to: Group Sales Director
Location: New Zealand

Role Purpose: The Head of Recruitment: Pathways will achieve new student enrolment and profit goals for their portfolio of programs. As Brand guardians in a sales context they will achieve this by developing and marketing a portfolio of programs to clients throughout the world and enabling the Regional Sales Team to do the same.

This role will work across our Agent, Feeder and Digital channels for both Domestic and International recruitment and will build the Regional Sales Team and customer knowledge for brands within portfolio and hold ownership for recruitment activities in line with sales plans.

Key Accountability
• Deliver product education and training, train the ‘trainer’ / sales team, empowering a confident Regional Sales, Agent, Feeder and Direct network
• Deliver efficient and effective agent group training and launches
• Support brand marketing with pricing/competitor insights and product/centre scoping 
• Represent centres/brand at exhibitions and recruitment events and ensure NSE budgets are met by centre/program

• Regional Sales, Agent, Feeder and Direct network demonstrate strong product knowledge
• Specify market specific product requirements e.g. entry requirements or intake dates and escalate issues to Global Sales Director
• Support brand marketing by monitoring competitors’ programmes and providing pricing and product insights
• Be knowledgeable and accountable for product requirements and escalate issues accordingly
• Identify and attend key recruitment events for each centre/brand
• NSE budgets are met for each centre/program

• Coordinate uni-in market visits and uni-sought market insights 
• Work with in-market teams to identify needs and work with marketing to make available localised product materials for all key markets and ensure their effective distribution and training
• Work with Regional Director on market organisation relationships e.g. High Commission / Embassies etc.

• Regularly visit uni-in markets and develop insights for uni-sought markets
• Collaborate with the marketing team to meet key market needs
• Ensure effective training and availability of localised product material for key markets
• Develop and maintain market organisation relationships, alongside the Regional Director

• Identify product specific opportunities and highlight to Group Sales Director

• Actively seeks and identifies product specific opportunities

• Document FAQs and localise / cascade sales and marketing materials
• Provide support for agent enquiries and ensure such responses are prompt

• Update FAQs as required to ensure key stakeholders are well informed
• Accountable for distribution of sales and marketing materials
• Agent enquires are responded to in a prompt manner

To be successful you will have:
• 5-10 years of experience in product sales through both an agency and direct distribution model
• A commercially savvy product specialist with a successful track record in delivering results via leading a geographically remote team within a key account management model
• Experience in successfully executing conversion and sales strategies
• Experience identifying a customer’s business drivers and influencing their buying behaviour in line with a customer value proposition
• Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges within this industry
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and change 
• Relationship builder and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation both internally and externally
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Results orientated with the ability to successfully deliver on sales, financial and customer satisfaction outcomes
• Good business and commercial acumen, analytical and quantitative ability
• Engaging and collaborating with key people within a matrix and ‘virtual’ organisation, including ability to gain commitment from others for joint success
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrated ability to proactively and effectively work in a team environment

• Tertiary educated, preferably from a university or PTE in NZ
• Fluency in English, and ideally a second language 
• CRM knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
